i’m tired these days…
FreeBSD 7.0rc1 is published, and i installed it.but…but…there is not video card driver? i can not startx…download a savage driver but it did not work(can’t build).Then i installed release of 6.2, it work perfect! copied the savage_dri.so to other partition, reinstalled 7.0, and copied back the savage driver. it didn’t work too!

google, i get a hint: the driver is at ports/x11-drivers!thanks to god!make install clean with non error message.
executed ‘Xorg -configure’ to generate a Xorg configuration file, but when startx with that file it failed: can’t found keyboard and mous. no driver? went to x11-drivers/xf86-input-keyboard and xf86-input-mouse, make install clean and then restart the x, it run!
i am typing under FreeBSD 7.0 RC1 with gnome 2.20.1.
added softwares: vim, pidgin, fcitx, postgresql and so on…
